A practical, project-driven path through planning, deploying, securing and operating Azure Virtual Desktop environments, mapped directly to the official Microsoft AZ-140 exam skills outline.
This course is built for Azure administrators and Microsoft 365 admins who already understand core Azure administration (AZ-104 level) and now need to plan, deploy and operate Azure Virtual Desktop for their organization — sizing host pools, packaging golden images, configuring FSLogix profiles, locking down access and keeping session hosts healthy in production. Over four hands-on days you'll work inside a real Azure subscription with a live AVD lab environment, building the exact skills an AVD specialist uses on the job.
Every module ends with a guided lab so the concepts stick, and the final day is dedicated entirely to mock exams and one-on-one review of your weak areas before you sit the official AZ-140 certification exam.

Yes — every seat includes one official Microsoft Certification exam voucher for AZ-140, issued after you complete the course. You can schedule the exam at any Pearson VUE center or take it online whenever you feel ready.
You don't need the AZ-104 certificate itself, but Microsoft strongly recommends Azure Administrator Associate-level knowledge — RBAC, VNets, storage and VM fundamentals — before attempting AZ-140. If any of that sounds unfamiliar, we recommend our AZ-104 course first so you get full value from this AVD-focused curriculum.
No prior AVD or Citrix experience is required, though basic familiarity with Windows client administration is helpful. Most learners come in as Azure administrators or Windows/Citrix admins picking up AVD-specific skills for the first time.
Every live session is recorded and uploaded within 24 hours, and you get lifetime access. You can also join the same module in a later batch at no extra cost if you'd rather catch it live.
We run monthly resume and mock-interview clinics for alumni, and share relevant openings from our hiring partner network in the DebugDeploy community. We don't guarantee placement, but most learners use their capstone labs directly in interviews.
If you attend the first two sessions and feel it isn't the right fit, we'll refund your fee in full — no questions asked. Just let us know before the third session starts.
Absolutely — for teams of 5 or more we run a dedicated batch, customized around your company's own AVD environment where possible. Reach out via the corporate training link in the schedule section above.
